in 2010 my younger brother Jason had a massive stroke out of no where, always the picture of health with a clean lifestyle. The doctors never could find out why it happened but thanks toy nieces very quick reaction he lived through it, it has taken him years to get his life somewhat back to what is was but it will never be the same. He had the stroke in September of that year & it was the first time he & his family had christmas dinner w/ our side of the family ever. My sister in law somehow felt it was more important to have Thanksgiving & Christmas with her side of the family & my brother didn't want to rock the boat. They have continued to have Christmas dinner with our side of the family every year since & it warms my heart that my parents are so happy they are all there. We are so blessed that he made it through & is able to enjoy his kids growing up &

My favorite holiday memory would be the birth of my daughter 7 years ago... Throughout my years or trying to bear a child I had extreme difficulty. I had been trying to conceive for years with my other half only to be let down by miscarriages and a tubal pregnancy. After a while we gave up hope. The doctors said I wasn't able to carry a child, I could not afford the expensive fertility drugs or other pricey options, And we considered adopting but had no clue where to begin. I felt very unwomanly not being able to bear my own child and depressed.... So after years of trying and finally excepting that I was not meant to have a child of my own we gave up... Then low and behold God sure enough answered my prayers! It was a high risk pregnancy the whole 9 mths but on December 4th 2008 I was blessed with the little girl I always wanted. So every year on her birthday and Christmas Day we extra appreciative and celebrate how blessed we truely are... The BEST Christmas surprise ❤💕🎁🎅🎄
